BASAS Conference talks online

Some of the presentations from this year’s British Association of South Asian Studies Conference are now online here. I wasn’t at the conference, so it’s great to be able to catch up with things in this form.

There are some interesting talks here – I’ve been reading some of David Arnold’s work on the colonial prison and policing in Madras presidency recently, but there are things that would be of interest to many geographers too.

Thanks to Steve Legg for sending this out on the Critical Geography Forum email list.
